Maybe Goodbye?

I'm not really sure how to write this...or say any of this.  I've been watching Just a Clip Away dwindle away over the past 5 months or so.  Less and less people visit the site every day and honestly it is disheartening.

I can't understand how JACA has over 2000 Facebook followers....and less than 40 visitors a day.  It may be time to shut down.

I LOVE sharing these deals and I love couponing, but if I have a very small amount of people visiting the blog I'm not sure it is worth it.  It is not that those few people aren't worth my time, so please don't take it like that.  But this blog takes a lot of time.  It takes time from my family and my kids and if no one is reading it then I need to let it go.

This is certainly not a post asking for pity or anything.  I promise! I'm just at a loss.  Is there something that you all would like to see?  Is there something missing?  Share any suggestions or thoughts in the comments below.

I'll be praying a lot of the next week or so as I make a decision.  Please pray that I make the right decision.  Thank you so much!  I LOVE my fans!

I would hate to see you go! I really enjoy your posts and all of the valuable information that you put out there for us. But, you most certainly have to do what is best for yourself and your family. Best of luck in your decision. :)

  2. I don't use your blog. I usually can get all your great info on fb. However, if you're going to continue at all through fb, I would keep the blog live (maybe with just a weekly wrap up) with the fb getting stricter with doing giveaways and such. You still may need to "use" the blog. But definitely keep praying. God will give you an answer.

  3. I try to stay on fb to get the info I need. The only time I go to the blogs is if there's a link that takes me directly to it to read the info or for a giveaway. :)

  4. I absolutely love your blog. You can't leave! This is the only local source I know to warn me of good deals. Sites like couponmom.com and others aren't reliable enough to warn me of local deals.

    Some suggestions:
    1) Pictures take a while to post, don't use them so often
    2) Often one post highlighting a few deals could be easier than multiple posts with just one deal each
    3) Ask for help. I'm sure there are some people out there who could help you search out deals and/or post them. I could help you post, but I'm not as good at finding the deals.
    4) It's kind of difficult to know when you're posting - it seems like you'll go a week without posting and then post 6 in one sitting. Maybe that's indicative of your having a life outside of this blog, which is very understandable
    5) Don't be afraid to ask for help or invite opinions, a little more interaction could do this blog wonders.
    6) If it came to it, I could help you out. I'm very busy myself, but have extensive blogging experience. You could teach me how to find deals, and I could help you manage the blog. my e-mail is jarednlorin@gmail.com
